About me

My name is Raphael Kirchner. I studied philosophy and psychology before eventually finding my way into software development.

For more than three decades, I’ve worked as a developer, product manager and consultant. More recently, I’ve set myself the challenge of learning two or three new languages.

As a developer, I’m used to learning new programming languages and getting to grips with unfamiliar systems. But I haven’t learned a spoken language from scratch since I was a teenager.
